Sky Waikiki
Located in the heart of Waikiki, Sky Waikiki sought a modern approach to their brand. They aimed to highlight the wrap-around rooftop deck featuring stunning panoramic views of Diamond Head, Waikiki Beach, and the city lights glittering 19 stories below. I worked with their team to produce customer-facing solutions and streamlined, efficient internal processes so they are able to focus on operations.

The Process
Make it less distracting.
The old logo was deemed too distracting and took away from any messaging. Rather than getting too creative, they consistently asked to simplify the approach. The negative space represents the skyline view from their iconic deck. The blue was chosen as a reference to the beautiful evening night sky and ocean.
